Democrats in California demand that National Weather Service employees be reinstated.

 

Following the National Weather Service's decision to suspend 24-hour operations at its Sacramento and Hanford weather forecasting offices, among other locations, California House Democrats requested on Friday that the agency reinstate some of its fired employees and start hiring new forecasters.
